The three time IPL winner Mumbai Indians, have made some last minute purchases for IPL 2019 season by purchasing Yuvraj Singh and bringing back Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga. Lasith Malinga has a long run with the Mumbai Indians and he can prove his worth for the team this year also.
Rohit Sharma will continue as the Captain for Mumbai Indians this year also. Along with Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Krunal Pandya are the other star players who are retained by the team.
Yuvraj Singh was unsold in the initial auction. But Mumbai Indian made a wise decision to brought him at his base price of Rs. 1 Crore. If he gets a place in playing XI, then he can be impressive in the middle order.
The management has also shown faith on youngers like Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav and Mayank Markande.
These players have done very well in the recent editions of IPL and they can play vital role for the team’s success IPL 2019 season also.
