The first ever T20 Cricket tournament consisting of Europe’s six city based team will be help in August 2019. The tournament will be known as Euro T20 Slam. 6 teams will be participating in Euro T20 Slam 2019.
There will be 2 teams each from Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands. Belfast and Dublin will be from Ireland, Glasgow and Edinburgh from Scotland and Amsterdam and Rotterdam from Netherlands.
The tournament will commence on 30 August and will end on 30 September 2019. All three countries will jointly host this T20 tournament.
Total 33 matches will be played between the 6 teams. First 10 matches will be played at VRA Cricket Ground, Amstelveen (Netherlands). Next 10 matches will be played at Grange Cricket Club, Edinburgh (Scotland). And the remaining 13 matches including Semi-Finals and Final will be played at The Village, Dublin (Ireland)

Amsterdam Knights Team:
The ex alrounder of Australia, Shane Watson will be the main player in Amsterdam Knights team on whom the team will rely both with batting and bowling. With Ben Cutting, Imran Tahir and Ahmad Shadzad also in their side, the Amsterdam Knights has a very excellent squad. These are the kind of players who can turn the things for Amsterdam Knights against any team in this first every Euro T20 slam.
Rotterdam Rhinos Team:
Rashid Khan, the skipper of Afghanistan national team will be the main pick of Rotterdam Rhinos. Rhinos will have lot of expectations from him, as he has proved his worth with bowl against many big teams and can play the role of pinch hitters with bat also. Rhinos have batsmen like Luke Ronchi, Fakhar Zaman and all rounder Samit Patel who can push the team towards a good score. With Shaheen Afridi, Anwar Ali and Hardus Viljoen in their side, the Rhinos have a failry good and strong bowling attack.
Edinburgh Rocks Team:
With Martin Guptill and Chris Lynn in their batting lineup, Edinburgh Rocks team is one of the most dangerous team in the Euro T20 Slam in terms of batting unit. Corey Anderson and Anton Devnich are also known as very hard hitters in T20 Cricket and the Edinburgh team will be boosted by the presence of these two batsmen.
The bowling attack of Edinburgh Rocks will be handled mainly by Matt Henry, Tabraiz Shamsi, Tymal Mills and Dwaine Pretorius.
Glasgow Giants Team:
Glasgow Giants will be looking mainly on ex New Zealand star batsman Brendon McCullum to do the things for them with bat. Moises Henriques and Ravi Bopara will also be the key for Giants success and will look to perform with both bat and ball. Dale Steyn and Usman Shinwari will have the responsibility of doing the job with the ball in the early overs. Glasgow Giants will also need the support from other players like Tom Sole, Matthew Cross, Michael Jone and Safyaan Sharif.
Belfast Titans Team:
Faf du Plessis, the captain of South Africa’s national team was added by the Belfast Titan in their squad at the end time and he will undoubtedly be the best batman in the team. Colin Ingram and Paul Stirling will the other batsmen in Titans side to look for when it comes to batting. Belfast Titans also have Wiecketkeeper Gary Wilson in their squad who can be very destructive with bat especially in T20 Cricket.
Belfast Titans also have very good bowlers like Andy McBrine, Boyd Rankin and Mark Adair in their team who can show good hands with the ball against any kind of batting.
Dublin Chiefs Team:
Dublin Chiefs batting strength will depend mainly on England’s captain Eoin Morgan. Apart from Eoin Morgan, Babar Azam will the another batsmen in Dublin Chiefs team, who can play a central role with the bat for his team. Wicket keeper Lorcan Tucker, Andrew Balbirnie and Kevin O’Brien can also play a good role with the bat for Chiefs.
Bowlers like Mohammad Amir and Daniel Christian are into Dublin Chiefs team. These two have performed very well with the ball in recent times and makes the Dublin team a very well bowling unit.
