Kings XI Punjab have released 11 players and attached 13 players with their squad for IPL 2020 season. There are some big players like Yuvraj Singh, Aaron Finch, Axar Patel and Mohit Sharma who have been released by PBKS. And some major additions into the team for this year’s IPL are Moises Henriques and Nicholas Pooran.
The team will be playing under the captaincy of Ravichandran Ashwin this year also.
The success of PBKS in IPL 2020 will depend on how the big names like KL Rahul, Chris Gayle and David Miller will bat on. KL Rahul and Chris Gayle shown strong hands with the bat in last year IPl and they will be looking to continue the same performance this year also.
Mayank Agarwal, Karun Nair, David Miller, Mandeep Singh and Nicholas Pooran are other good batsmen that KXIP have who can upset the opposition bowlers with their batting performances.
Ravichandran Ashwin himself along with Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Murugan Ashwin, Mohammed Shami and Andrew Tye will have the Responsibility of putting the brakes on opposition teams batting lineup.
