Chris Lynn, Nitish Rana and Robin Uthappa make up a strong top for KKR. Nitish Rana and Robin Uthappa did well with the bat in the chase against SRH in the 1st match. These batsmen can make it tough again for the bowlers of KXIP. Andre Russell will also have the huge role to play with his explosive batting.
Andre Russell who took 2 wickets in the match against SRH displayed a good all round effort. He can claim some important wickets against KXIP also. Sunil Narine and Piyush Chawla will also be looking to put a lid on the scoring of KXIP batsmen.
Kings XI Punjab:
Chris Gayle started 2019 IPL season with an explosive innings of 79 runs against RR. Sarfaraz Khan supports him well with score of 46 runs. The team will be looking for good contribution from Lokesh Rahul, Mayank Agarwal and Nicholas Pooran in this match with KKR.
With bowlers like Ravichandran Ashwin (c), Mohammed Shami and Mujeeb Ur Rahman in their side, KXIP bowling attack also looks decent.
