Emirates D10 Cricket League 2020 Full Schedule

The Emirates D10 League comprising of 6 teams from UAE will beging from 24 july and will last till 07 July. There will be five teams in the tournament from UAE domestic club and the sixth team will be Emirates Blue team from Emirates Cricket board. There are 34 matches scheduled to be played in this 2 week tournaments and the matches will be played in 2 stadiums of UAE which are ICC Academy stadium and Dubai Cricket stadium.

The five Domestic teams of UAE are:

• Abu Dhabi
• Ajman
• Fujairah
• Dubai
• Sharjah

ITW Consulting has been announced as the official sponsers and partnership of this Emirates D10 League. The tournament will be played in round robin format where each team has to play two matches with each other. The four teams which end up in the last four positions will qualify for the playoff. The round robin matches are schedule to be played between 24 to 06 August and the Final of the tournament will be played on 07 August.

Although most of the T10 and T20 leagues played around the World have players from all the cricket playing countries, the interesting thing about this D10 League is that only players from UAE will be allowed to play in the tournament, with Graeme Cremer is the only exception as international player. The first match of the league will see Dubai Pulse Secure facing off the ECB Blues on 24 July at ICC Academy Ground.

As most of the cricket playing countries including European Countries are organizing cricket leagues to boost their economy in this critical time, so it will also be a good chance for the UAE Cricket board to give some boost to their economy as well as it will be a good source of entertainment for the Cricket lovers.
