Jersey Team
Jersey team made a low total batting 1st in the 1st T20 against Guernsey. Their top order had very little contribution with Nick Ferraby, Jonty Jenner and Ben Stevens got out cheaply. Middle order in the form of Dominic Blampied, Corey Bisson, Anthony Hawkins-Kay chipped in with 20s and helped the Jersey to reach score of 128.
Elliot Miles brilliant work with the ball (3 wickets for 17 runs) helped the team to get the match tied. The team then won in the super over.
Guernsey Team
Poor start from Guernsey openers was the main reason, the team was not able to surpass the target of 128 and in the end lost the match in super over. Captain Josh Butler and Matt Stokes showed some hands with the hand by making 22 and 21 runs, but their effort too went in vain. The team would want these two along with the openers to get some good start in this 2nd T20 agains Jersey.
Nic Buckle with 3 wickets and Nic Buckle & William Peatfield with 2 wickets each were good with the ball. Hopefully they will again do the good work for Guernsey in the 2nd T20 also.
